This is an office-based role with occasional travel requirements.
Ideally, you will be already based on the Sunshine Coast. No relocation costs will be paid.
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in IT.
- Microsoft certifications or a commitment to achieving them.
- Solid understanding of networking; exposure to Ubiquiti and Sophos is ideal.
- Familiarity with Active Directory (AD)/Entra and Group Policy Editor (GPE).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Exposure to IBM/HCL Notes is advantageous.
- Professional attitude and clear communication skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot desktop support calls for both Mac and predominantly Windows machines.
- Monitor the environment and desktops to ensure optimal performance.
- Resolve networking, printing, and licensing issues.
- Proactively check for potential issues within the environment.
- Manage desktop encryption and threat detection.
- Oversee the SIP phone environment (training provided).
- Set goals, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Track time, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress or issues to the business.
