Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Helpdesk Support Technician to join our team. The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients, resolving IT-related issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to our clients via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems
- Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues
- Document and track all support incidents and resolutions in our ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement solutions and improvements
- Field visits when necessary
- Applications support
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Helpdesk Technician/Support technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Certificate III or equivilant
