Job description
Excellent opportunity for a Mandarin & English-speaking IT professional with great remuneration and benefits
About the role In this role, you will be collaborating with the APAC IT management and the global IT team to design, integrate, and implement an IT infrastructure that effectively supports both users and business operations.
Your new role Your responsibilities will include the design and deployment of a comprehensive IT infrastructure. This encompasses a wide range of systems such as the helpdesk, wireless network, firewall, servers, surveillance, device monitoring, telephone systems, projectors, printers, alarm systems, meeting systems, computer rooms, computers, tablets, and more. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless and efficient IT environment within the organisation. You will be a solo technology professional in the Perth office but will hold the responsibility of collaborating to set up a comprehensive infrastructure across the business in the APAC region. This is a challenging role where you will be tasked with wearing many hats; you will be providing general IT Support for the Perth office whilst also being involved with larger projects across APAC, so you need to be ready for a breadth of responsibility. However, the benefit of this is that you will be hands-on with a range of technologies and have a say in carving out the technological infrastructure of a multinational organisation. You will be sure to learn a lot on the job and develop your overall skills substantially.
What You'll need to Succeed To be successful, you will be proficient in Helpdesk Management, and have a solid understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) technologies, including Routing, Switching, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with Wireless Systems is also necessary, along with Firewall Management and IPSEC/SSL VPN. Ideally, you will have experience in Quality of Service (QoS) design and implementation, and Link Redundancy/Failover Design. Additionally, you will be capable of managing a Computer Room, Surveillance Systems, and Computer Patch/Antivirus Management. Printer and Scanner Management skills are also required.
In addition to these technical skills, you will possess a proactive attitude and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with the ITIL Framework is highly desirable, and it is expected that you are fluent in both English and Chinese, in both written and oral forms. While not mandatory, a certificate such as a CCNP/CCIE is preferred and would certainly add value to your profile.
What You'll Get in Return In return, you will be part of a productive and fun working environment with a high-performing team within a social environment. You will also get a full suite of benefits as part of the package. This includes, but is not limited to, full level gold health insurance for you and your family, alongside life insurance. You will also have one work from home day per week and there is flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle and needs. The company bonus scheme also applies to this role.
