About the Role
Due to the continued growth of the JBS Australia business, a new position has been created for an experienced IT Integration Specialist to join the JBS Integrated Services Team in our CBD based office. Reporting to the IT Integrated Services Manager and working with a dedicated team of dedicated and innovative analysts, you will work on creating interface solutions for various corporate and operational requirements. As the Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying integration solutions using Mulesoft, Pentaho and other integration technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and testers to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. You will also provide technical guidance, best practices, and support for the existing integration applications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, building, documenting and implementing integration solutions
- Providing support for existing integration solutions
- Supporting our existing Mulesoft, Pentaho and other interface platforms
- Coordinating with designers, administrators, project managers, developers, and operations
- Performing security, performance and availability assessments
- Ensuring the accurate versioning and strict use of source control
- Establishing, configuring, improving and responding to production alerting/monitoring
- Having a strong focus on analysis, solution and technical design activities with high-quality documentation and realistic work estimates as the end deliverable
- Initiating and leading regular reviews and redesign of processes and procedures to continually improve productivity and efficiency
- Undertaking business and Data Analysis
- Completing requirements gathering and writing specifications
- Driving continuous improvement in our integration capability and align with our DevOps culture
- Supporting business activities using in-house developed & 3rd-party applications (some after-hours support may be required)
About You
- Tertiary qualifications Information Technology or relevant field
- Previous experience in a similar Analyst/Engineer role with experience in Integration Development
- Previous experience with MuleSoft Integration Platform development (Mulesoft Anypoint platform, Mule Runtime, API Manager, CloudHub and Studio)
- Previous experience with Azure Integration, .NET/C# development and SQL Server
- Experience with other integration technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, BizTalk, etc.
- Certification in Mulesoft Developer or Architect or equivalent highly desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write technical specifications and technical support documentation
- Agile software development experience (preferably SCRUM)
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Strong requirements gathering and design experience
- Ability to work with business users to understand requirements and support the application
- Ability to communicate effectively with other IT business areas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in FMCG, manufacturing and/or supply chain environment
