Key responsibilities of the role will be:
Overseeing the secure and effective operation of all IT infrastructure, computer systems, related application hardware and software.
Managing IT/Systems budgets.
Managing relationships with external IT service/support providers and software providers.
Managing delivery of IT related projects, compliance and development activities.
Identifying staff/user training, support needs.
Working in collaboration with other departments to successfully implement business systems related projects.
Ensuring IT system documentation is up to date.
This role will be required to travel to all business sites especially in central Queensland as necessary.
Preferred Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in similar IT leadership roles for technology, program and project delivery.
- Must have experience with Microsoft 365 platforms or Google Apps.
- Exposure to and experience working across a broad range of infrastructure, software and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience developing organisation IT Services and Security posture.
- Considerable knowledge of commercial management, budgeting and business operations.
- Strong program/project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
