How will I help?
Westpac has an immediate opportunity for an agile associate Project Manager with a strong delivery background, seasoned facilitation skills, and experience in helping teams. To support feature teams, product owners and their teams to drive the delivery of high-quality, high-value products enabling Westpac build world class Digital products.
Core Responsibilities in the role will include
- Support multiple squads to deliver features on our digital platforms
- Manage each work requests scope, estimation and delivery timelines
- Co-ordinate agile activities including PI planning, sprints and stand ups
- Support teams to resolve dependency, capacity and resource issues
- Proactively manage dependencies, issues and risks
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles which occur
- Manage & deliver changes to production ensuring deliverables are up to quality standards and processess are adhered to
- Work with other BAs, Scrum Master, Coaches to ensure that our ways of working are consistent across teams
- Support Product Owners in each team to engage, inform, influence and negotiate with stakeholders using product backlogs as the basis for discussions.
You will partner with business and technology teams to plan and execute their mix of tactical and strategic work to deliver the vision of the business.

What do I need?
- 2 years (min) experience Digital Project Manager/Scrum Master
- Background in Financial Services with experience working across digital products; mobile banking and internet banking;
- Software / Engineering Experience or Development on experience
- Experienced in end to end delivery of change;
- Experience in support and testing of functional, non-functional changes for critical systems.
- Experience & confidence using industry leading collaboration tools inc; Jira, confluence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST.
- Ability to actively participate and contribute to all the agile ceremonies
- Experience\Knowledge in Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) is a plus
