About your new role
As our IT Manager, you will report through to our Head of IT Operations and will have the crucial role of developing and maintaining our IT systems and processes, ensuring alignment with our key business objectives.
You will be responsible for the internal service desk in support of a workforce of ~25 people, investigating and resolving issues relating to hardware, network and system access. You will provide operational support to our users, including delivering user-training, and ensure system access and support align with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
You will solely be responsible for managing and maintaining network architecture, overseeing hardware and software licenses, coordinating IT access and directory management. Being the primary contact and escalation point for 3rd party IT vendors will also be a significant part of your role.
In addition, you will play a role in maintaining cyber security measures and will be able to effectively manage stakeholders.

- Employee IT Access & Directory Management
- Thought Leadership / IT Knowledge Management, including provision of IT training for a small FINSIA workforce.
- Incident, Problem, and Release Management
- Cyber Security
- Stakeholder Management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- hold tertiary qualifications (minimum bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- responsible for the ongoing management of system updates and patches, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and secure;
- have demonstrated technical experience in managing an Active Directory (currently Microsoft system), and related applications;
- be knowledgeable in the methods required to ensure security and reliability of company systems, including cybersecurity, disaster recovery plans and BCP;
- possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- enjoy finding technical solutions and assisting others to achieve operational objectives in a small team environment.
