The Role: IT Network Manager
At Uniting AgeWell, we believe that technology can transform the way we care for and support our aging community. As an IT Network Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in this. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
- Be the technical owner and subject matter expert for all aspects of IT Networks
- Regular reporting on network equipment and centralized monitoring tools and logs
- Review, assess network infrastructure, make recommendations, manage implementations
- Overseeing the deployment, configuration and patching of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices.
- Ensure that the network is set up according to design specifications
- Maintain and enhance the corporate network
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure IT network services are delivered within agreed SLA and expectations.
- Perform technical administration of IT Network where applicable (as this will be a managed service)
- Provide technical escalation and assistance including support, diagnosis, escalation, follow through and resolution of system faults across all IT Network
- Mentoring and working with internal team members, liaise with stakeholders and vendors to deploy secure and reliable solutions.
- Own and manage vendor relationships, governance and associated commercial agreements and contracts with all IT Infrastructure providers and vendors
- Maintain infrastructure, cloud and SaaS (software as a service) based systems to a high performance and security level.
About you
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network support management or a related technical role.
- Proficient with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and security protocols in a LAN/WAN and WLAN environment.
- Knowledge of network hardware, software, and operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technology and SDWAN.
- Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
- Proven problem resolution skills at an operational and executive level.
- Proven experience with engagement of and formation of positive and effective relationships with both staff at all levels of the organisation as well as vendors.
