SEAu IT Operations team and product team work together in Dev Ops model towards continuous delivery and improvements.
What's the role?
As part of the Operations Landscape Management (OLM) team, the IT Operations engineer is responsible for delivering smooth operations of applications and their related back-end technology. You will work as part of a global team with a strong track record working with as part of an energy trading business, working in the capacity of support champion being part of the product team.
Collaborate with the various Service and Operations Management (SOM) teams (Enterprise teams and Azure@Shell teams etc.).
Build key relationships (solution architect, data architect, lead developers, lead analyst, PMs).
Technical and functional skills, influencer, Data & Analytics exposure.
Look for opportunities for continuous improvement and drive to get them implemented.
Represent at the design sessions to ensure design and development from the start considers not only IRM and architecture needs, but also supportability requirements.
What we need from you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Information Technology or similar certification.
Application Support background mainly in Azure data functions/Reporting.
Significant experience in supporting Azure hosted applications and their underlying infrastructure services.
Knowledge in trading business domain - Energy Trading, ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management) or CTRM (Commodity Trading Risk Management) preferred.
Exposure in IT support & understanding of trading lifecycle of the Trading process - from trade capture, through scheduling the commodity for delivery.
Preferred to have good knowledge in Gas Trading, LNG trading, Power trading, Nominations, Risk/MTM/PNL, Deal life cycle, End of day process, Deal Capture, accounting process, settlements etc.
Ability to work with minimal managerial support.
Strong IT service management, business partnering, stakeholder management, analysis and problem-solving skills, good communication skills.
Technical Skills
Technical skills in .NET, Azure Data Factory, data bricks and CI/CD.
Exposure to following Azure components (App Service, Function App, Storage Account, Cosmos DB (for Mongo), Azure Key Vault, Log Analytics, Vnet/subnet.
Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes etc.
