Your New Role
Join our team as an IT Operations Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional IT service management and support. As a key member, you'll contribute to maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, and actively enhancing the security of our systems. This position requires a dynamic individual with proven experience in providing level 1 and 2 support, adeptness in managing cloud-based applications, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Your Day to Day

• Deliver comprehensive IT service management, support, and maintenance in a dynamic technology environment.

• Collaborate with the Digital team, vendors, and stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide level 1 and 2 IT support for Mac and Windows devices.
• Maintain Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Manage incidents, requests, and problems in alignment with ITIL standards.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment procurement and configuration.
• Contribute to software procurement, vendor management, and contractual reviews.
• Implement zero-touch end user device deployment and optimise network support.
• Identify and implement improvements to IT infrastructure.
• Actively monitor and ensure performance meets contractual service levels for IT vendors.
• Manage asset lifecycle and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Deploy security-related tools, manage information security policies, and promote cybersecurity awareness.
• Assist with data archiving, DLP, data retention initiatives, and optimise mail security.
• Perform hardware and software patch and firmware management.

Your Skills

• 5+ years in a similar Technical Operations/Level 1 & 2 Support role in a medium-sized multi-site organisation.

• Exposure to wholesale distribution, eCommerce, and manufacturing environments preferred.

• Strong experience with a variety of cloud (SaaS) based business applications.

• ITIL certification is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity risks, frameworks, best practices, and tools.
• Vendor management skills.
