We are an iconic Australian owned global retail organisation that includes the Spotlight, Anaconda, Harris Scarfe and Mountain Designs and more. From our beginnings as a single dress fabric stall at Queen Victoria Market Spotlight has grown to become one of the largest fabrics, craft, party and home decorating superstores.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Help design and maintain the future IT strategic plan
- Review industry technology trends and drive innovation
- Build and maintain the enterprise architecture landscape
- Establish migration plans to migrate the enterprise architecture towards target state
- Produce well defined and cost-effective solution architectures for strategic or critical business initiatives
- Assist with IT planning and budgeting
- Communicating architecture and IT standards to all stakeholders
- Ensuring that systems are architected to be secure and resilient
- Aligning vendors to our technical roadmap
About You:
- Must have Retail industry experience, understanding of trends, competitive positioning and retail technologies - spanning in-store, online/ digital channels and ERP solutions
- Must have Tertiary qualifications in information systems or related discipline
- Experience defining IT Strategy and architecture plans
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, solution architecture, reference architectures, information & communication technologies
- Sound conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to translate ideas into practical implementation
- Ability to challenge the status quo and influence the prevailing culture through people skills (IT & Business)
- Strong relationship skills and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
