Position Overview
The Program Manager at Banyule City Council assumes primary responsibility for the IT Digital Transformation Program and its subsidiary projects, requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on project delivery experience.
In this role, you will lead the IT Digital Transformation Programs, managing staff and resources while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Stakeholder engagement is paramount, involving executives, department heads, and end-users to maintain open communication throughout the transformation process. Additionally, you will define project plans, monitor progress, manage finances, and oversee resource allocation within the program.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this position, candidates should possess 5-10 years of industry experience in project and program management, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside proficiency in project management methodologies and financial acumen. Experience with vendor collaboration and change management within complex organizations is highly desirable.
On Offer
This full-time permanent position, classified at the Senior Executive Officer Level, offers a salary range of $133,224.32 - $145,454 plus superannuation.
Further, there are additional leave considerations through the calendar year and access to significant L&D opportunities.
