This role is based in our Head Office, St Leonards, NSW. The office is within walking distance from the train station. There are plenty of options for lunch and catching up with colleagues or friends after work. If you are keen on fitness there are multiple gyms and a sports field on our doorstep.
What you'll contribute to
The role of Project Coordinator is to provide hands-on support to IT Leadership to coordinate project delivery activities. The role will provide project support, project governance and reporting to the ITLT.
The Project Coordinator role is suitable for individuals who have commenced their career in IT project delivery and have completed foundational project management training with at least 3-6 months experience running small projects.
How you'll make an impact
Projects Delivery
- Responsible for ensuring IT Delivery standards are met on projects within the Platform and Maintenance program, by working with and supporting the IT Business Manager and ITLT Project Sponsor to Set up and monitor Project RAID (Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependency) logs, ensuring timely, periodic review of each RAID facet.
- Deliver accurate project status reports.
- Comply with quality assurance health checks and overall governance.
- Develop budgets and track them by providing accurate and timely updates and project financial reports.
- Manage all project related documentation including the creation and management of the document library, ensuring adequate version control, sign off mechanisms and access controls are in place.
- Work with IT Business Manager and stakeholders to implement and improve Project Delivery, Governance, and assurance standards.
- Practice and promote consistent standards and procedures, including usage of correct templates and providing guidance to the project team members.
- Utilise and support governance/reporting for projects.
- Maintain project data covering (project details, milestones, cost/budget plans and benefit plans)
- 3-6 months demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinators with an understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies (Agile and waterfall)
- Ability to work independently on project documents and activities
- Experience in project performance reporting ( Forecasting and budgeting)
- Ability to build presentation packs for senior Stakeholders
- Understanding of multiple project management methodologies
- Ability to work in a changing project environment
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, interpersonal communications skills and emotional intelligence
- Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
