The Individual:
In this role you will execute best practice project management processes across the organisation by overseeing, managing and delivering end-to-end high-profile business projects and ensure they are complete on time and within budget.
The kind of person we have in mind for this role will have at least 3 -5 years’ experience in a PMO and project team. They will have established skills in project management and stakeholder management at a senior level. They will easily build rapport and negotiate with a range of internal stakeholders and confidently deal directly with the company executives.
Project management experience in a commercial setting is highly regarded.
This role will require you to:
• Manage the project portfolio/demand management pipeline by assisting sponsor in preparing business cases for SLT prioritization
• Oversea key project gate process including commencement, closing and post implementation reviews
• Business case development, project financial management on a weekly or sprint basis against baseline
• Escalation to steering group of funding issues (including expenditure in contingency)
• Project status reporting, risk and issues and tracking of project deliverables against business case objectives
• Manage project constraints/conflicts and manage project priorities and objectives
• Maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions log; and publishing regular status reporting for stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Actively manage cross project dependencies and assist delivery teams in removing impediments that extend beyond the scope of their capabilities
• Ensure that regular project governance activities, including reporting, KANBAN walls, financials, steering groups, and SLT are scheduled, executed, minutes and actions recorded and communicated to impacted parties
• Provide leadership in matters of collaboration, governance and probity, implementation, and business planning
• Reporting realisation of project benefits
• Manage client (internal and external) requests to a high standard
About you:
• Experience in project management office and managing projects
• Degree qualification with a preference in Change Management, Project Management or Business/Commerce
• A Project Management certification (PMI/ PRINCE2) may be advantageous
• Excellent relationship management experience and solid negotiation skills
• Highly organised, good technical skills and has the ability to problem-solve effectively
• MS Office: intermediate/advanced Excel, MS Project, good written and verbal communication
• A passion for mental health wellness and a desire to work in the allied health industry
