The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our IT function as a Project Manager for a major IT modernization Program called Resilience. Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation, supporting our business and customers now and for the future.
The IT Project Manager is a crucial role in planning, executing, and overseeing various technology projects within the Resilience Program. Responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. In this key role you will partner with Business Leaders and IT Product Owners and manage external services providers to deliver on project scope, governance and quality assurance, ensuring all IT projects are governed and aligned with BlueScope capital finance and methodology processes.
This role can be based in Mascot NSW, Wollongong NSW, or Mount Waverley VIC. and is offered on a 2 year Fixed Term basis
What Will You Do?
You will help us to deliver efficient and effective IT Projects across the business by:
- Lead the planning and implementation of the assigned project/s.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Define project plans, tasks and resource requirements
- Manage project budget, ensuring expenditure remains within approved limits.
- Manage project resource allocation, managing resource utilisation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines
More About You
With your knowledge of Project Delivery across a range of IT transformation projects, you will also have:
- Extensive project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of small and complex IT projects
- Experience of working within a multi-vendor, outsourced service provider environment
- Experience of identifying and managing project issues, risks, dependencies
- Experience of project administration including contract variations, dashboard reporting, financial tracking and forecasting
- Worked within Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid delivery methodologies
