We’re also a key delivery partner in the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games – meaning, there are some career-defining opportunities on the way without ever needing to commute to the city.  The Digital and Information Services Branch delivers agile and transformative information and technology, enabling council to be a leader in providing innovative and sustainable services to its communities.  An IT Risk & Compliance Officer supports the delivery of the IT Risk Management Framework by providing good governance and advice and direction to the wider branch members and management.

 Key duties

As a professional in this field, you will have a substantial understanding of the ICT legislation, other insurance and risk management standards and policies and procedures.  You will have strong research, analytical problem-solving and evaluation skills with the capacity to project manage, examine complex problems, and develop innovative strategies and solutions to a diverse client base.  You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications (such as Information Technology) and have demonstrated experience relevant to perform the position key responsibilities, preferably in a large diverse organisation.
