About the role:
The ICT Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer works to assist the CQHHS to meet best practice standards in the development, use and maintenance of ICT systems, information, and related assets.
- Manage and lead regular compliance, maturity and audit reviews executed within the ICT function, including managing, and reporting progress against identified areas of improvement.
- Assist the IT Unit by acting as a key contact for business units for escalations, critical follow up, and overall program/project management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor reporting mechanisms for governance, security, and risk practices to support compliance and highlight areas of exposure.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A broad knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, CQHHS ICT environment, including but not limited to, software operating systems, applications, cloud and IT infrastructure as it pertains to physical, information, data and cloud security.
- Experience and understanding of risk management and controls frameworks, including completion of risk assessments.
- Highly developed conceptual and reasoning skills to research, investigate, analyse, evaluate, and integrate relevant solutions from related disciplines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consensus building and project management skills.
Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to Up to $10,603 p.m. is comprised of:
- A salary between $51.69 - $56.24 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
