In this critical role, you will be in charge of our security strategy and systems, ensuring that our network and critical customer data are protected from evolving cyber threats. You will report directly to the CIO. As a key component of our cybersecurity framework, you will ensure strict compliance while implementing critical security measures. Key responsibilities include:
- Cybersecurity Strategy & Implementation
- Vendor Management
- Incident Response and Management
- Compliance and Policy Management
- Security Operations Oversight
- Technology Evaluation and Integration
- Security Audits, Assessments, and Risk Management
- Conducting third-party risk assessments
- Managing cybersecurity budgets
- Engaging stakeholders and reporting
- Educational and training initiatives
- 5+ years of proven experience in an IT Security Manager/Head of Cyber role or in a similar capacity
- Implementing or working with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and Essential 8
- Handling and responding to security incidents and breaches
- Compliance audits and the implementation of controls necessary to meet legal and regulatory standards
- Previous experience working closely with and managing vendors to form key partnerships.
- Experience managing security projects including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing them.
- Deep understanding of cyber threats, defense mechanisms, and the overall cybersecurity landscape.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry will be advantageous, but not essential.
