This role is responsible for providing technical support to internal staff and customers. The position requires working on several aspects of internal and external support including:
- Internal IT support related to hardware, software, and networking issues
- Escalated customer support issues that require specialist IT knowledge
- Development, configuration, upgrading, enhancement, deployment, and monitoring of internal and hosted systems
- Assisting the IT Team with the maintenance of internal and hosted platforms, hardware and software
- Documentation
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in all Windows operating systems, including the MS Office Suite and Office 365, preferably in a Help Desk environment
- Experience in the field of software development or relevant discipline
- Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining solutions in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft TFS, and other Office 365 applications an advantage
- Understanding and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and HTTP
- Demonstrated ability in developing database models and SQL queries
- Experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IP networks
- Experience in FortiGate firewall
- Experience in Cisco routers and networking components
- Understanding of deployment tools for Microsoft desktop software
- Some exposure to SQL Server database administration, VPN, remote desktop, and Citrix
- Demonstrated capability for problem determination, troubleshooting and resolution
- High degree of composure with the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects
- High ability to develop technical knowledge and a focus on self-development require
