Opportunity to work for this fast-growing services company as an IT Support Specialist. Your brand-new role will see you responsible for providing IT Support across business operations, using internal and external resources to resolve IT requests & issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Key accountabilities
- Provide 2nd & 3rd level support, delivering and coordinating team member support to ensure effective and timely resolution of technical problems and requests
- Maintain, review, and ensure appropriate business and IT policies / processes are in place to enhance security and controls for all business applications and processes
- Contribute to internal and customer projects, providing estimates, solutions and deliverables
- Communicate updates to open incidents including release/outage messages
- Ensure application or service configuration and deployment is performed to in compliance with the organisations' IT Security policies and customer auditing expectations
Skills and experience
- Experience managing and supporting Microsoft-based end-user environments including Office 365
- Previous experience with Exchange, Citrix, VMWare and SAN and other technologies
- Sound understanding of ICT infrastructure technologies
- Strong customer service orientation
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic and professional
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and how an understanding of how identity management and access controls work within these environments highly regarded
- Knowledge of Cyber operational process knowledge and/or experience (Patching, Cloud, Vulnerability Management etc) highly regarded
