We are thrilled to invite you to join our IT team as an IT Support Lead at our Head Office in Brendale!
The Role
Supported by the Group IT Manager, the successful candidate will be entirely responsible for the day-to-day management of our IT Helpdesk function, encompassing the triage of level 1 & 2 support tasks as well as escalation to other teams. This is your chance to run an IT Helpdesk whilst honing your on-the-tools skillset within a modern Microsoft cloud stack.
Duties & responsibilities
- Timely management and resolution for end-user support requests both onsite and via remote connectivity.
- Support hardware and software - identify issues, repair/replace, install and configure.
- Provide network support for LAN, Wi-Fi & VPN.
- Office 365 management and administration.
- Manage the workload of trusted vendors and suppliers.
- Complete onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Support other IT systems such as IP Phones, CCTV systems & Printing.
- Opportunity to become involved with the delivery of technical projects.
Skills & experience
- Open & confident customer service manner.
- Demonstrated ability to perform triage, escalation, handle tasks and set deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders and the ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Cert IV Information Technology + or equivalent. Associate's degree in Computer Science/IT- related degree (optional but highly regarded).
- Proven experience in technical support of computers, networks and servers in our predominantly Windows environment
- Working knowledge Microsoft Windows OS & Office 365
- Special considerations for the following skills
- Experience in managing Azure and/or AWS cloud environment
- Experience in Power BI platform
