Look no further than Mount Hotham Ski Company, where we are searching for an IT Support Officer to join our team for the 2024 Ski season (Late May until early October) to help create unforgettable snow experiences for our guests.
The key focus of the role will be to assist with the support of critical IT systems as well as provide end user support. This includes support of the point of sale system, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office365, networking hardware, RFID access gates, live webcams, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers, VoIP telephony, iOS & Android mobile devices and more.

In a typical day in this role, you might:
- Follow ITIL best practice, ensuring incidents and resolutions are recorded within the IT Service Desk application
- Carry out predefined daily checks on allocated sites within the agreed Service Level Agreements
- Deliver a positive and proactive customer service in-line with the IT Service culture and mission
- Deliver effective and professional communication with business users regarding IT incidents and requests in line with IT communication procedures
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Prior relevant experience and/or qualifications in the IT industry
- Organisational skills, perseverance and problem-solving abilities
- Technical troubleshooting skills
- Prior ski industry and/or tourism industry experience is desirable but not mandatory

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September.
