We are searching for a high-performing IT Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in our business's growth.  

About the Opportunity 

We seek a highly motivated and experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in driving client success by providing strategic IT advice and overseeing the delivery of our client projects.

In this role, you will split your time between second and third-level support and project work delivery to our clients. You must have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.

You will also need 3-5 years of experience in IT, ideally a previous role similar to system engineer capacity for an MSP. 

Responsibilities 

• Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their unique business needs and IT challenges. 
• Develop and present customized IT solutions that leverage our managed service offerings. 
• Manage and oversee the implementation and ongoing support of IT solutions to our clients.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve client IT infrastructure and security posture. 
• Build strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and maintaining open communication. 
• Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and high-quality service delivery. 
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure clients receive the best possible solutions. 
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for clients and internal stakeholders. 

Requirements

• Superior knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud platform
  • MS Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server 2016 – 2022
  • Windows 10/11 and Office Suite
• Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
• Certifications for the technologies listed above
• Exceptional time management and organisation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a large team
• Excellent professional communication skills - face-to-face, phone and email
• Outstanding customer service skills and a strong sense of empathy
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think outside of the box
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Good knowledge of network troubleshooting
• Commercial awareness
