The Opportunity:
This is another exciting opportunity to join Elders as they bring together technical experts for a transition of networks, hardware and support services which will significantly streamline the way they work and provide more efficient outcomes to their partners and employees.
As the IT Transition Project Manager, you will lead a variety of IT hardware and network projects with significant scope and impact, for the Elders Insurance arm of the business. Projects will include the transition of end user computing technology, O365 suite, telephony services and Telstra networks to a new external vendor.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage IT Transition Projects from beginning to end, including project scope, schedule and resource allocation.
- Oversee project management activities with the partner Project Manager (external vendor) as required, to resolve issues and ensure deliverables are met.
- Ensure the financial tracking of the project is accurate and communicate and report on the updates to billings and charges.
- Be the conduit between various project teams and engage stakeholders regularly to provide progress reports and alleviate risks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the transition and implement continuous improvement actions.
A customer focussed IT Project Manager with experience in managing large scale IT infrastructure Transition Projects.
You will be a skilled communicator with strong financial business acumen and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, vendors and managed service providers. Experience with end user computing hardware, network infrastructure migrations, on-prem to cloud data migrations, transition of VOIP systems and O365 is preferred.
