Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As our full-time IT/AV Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Install, configure, and test Audio/Visual devices, such as displays, cameras, microphones, audio equipment, and signage. Operate and troubleshoot AV setups for functions and live events.
- Install, configure, and test a range of computer systems, including corporate PCs, point-of-sale devices, printers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Maintain the PC & Console game library, involving tasks like purchasing, activation, documentation, and communication.
- Diagnose hardware and software faults, solve technical problems, and work with customers and employees to identify and address computer-related issues.
- Attend meetings to review documentation and discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements, ensuring seamless integration of technology.
- Provide assistance to the Technology team by managing inventory, offering general tech support, and contributing to equipment upgrades and modifications. Maintain records, analyze call logs, and identify common trends in technical issues.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree or similar qualification in Audio/Visual, Information Technology or related fields preferred.
- Strong AV & technical knowledge desired.
- Organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive approach to change
- Ability to work in high-pressure, time sensitive production situations while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team-oriented, solutions-focused environment
- Resiliency when dealing with unexpected issues and the ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
- Must have ongoing & unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
