Clicks IT Recruitment is currently working for a QLD government department that ensures the safety of critical infrastructure across Queensland.
Currently they are looking for an ITSM Specialist to join their Carseldine Office, and work closely with the various ITSM leads.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate advanced expertise in Incident Management, collaboratively develop technical support documentation, and contribute insights from prior experiences to support the internal Service Management team.
- Oversee escalation and coordination of incident responses across various teams and third-party providers.
- Conduct comprehensive post-incident reviews, generate insightful reports, draft executive summaries of incidents, and provide recommendations to preempt or alleviate the impact of recurrent incidents.
- Facilitate cross-functional IT Service Management (ITSM) Practice Reporting to enhance operational insights across diverse teams.
- Collaborate closely with ITSM Leads throughout the lifecycle of active and new incidents to ensure quality assurance.
- Contribute to enhancing Incident Management practices to minimise service risks and enhance customer satisfaction through process optimisation, tool enhancements, and fostering cultural shifts.
- Provide support to incident response and resolution investigative teams.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years working within a similar ITSM role
- In-depth knowledge/expertise with Incident Management
- Ability to work and manage various priorities with conflicting deadlines
- Strong understanding of and experience with IT Service Management toolsets
- Analytical approach to tasks, combined with well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data and work with limited technical guidance
Due to the nature of work, candidates must be QLD based or willing to relocate.
On offer is an initial contract ending June 30th, with 2x12 month extensions, based in Carseldine.
