Do you have a passion for Japan? We are looking for you! We have an opening for a Japan expert who is capable of selling tours and creating relationships with customers who are looking to travel throughout Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and customize travel itineraries to Japan based on client preferences, budget, and special interests (e.g., culinary tours, cultural experiences, historical sites, etc.).
- Provide expert advice on Japan's destinations, attractions, local customs, and travel logistics.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel partners in Japan (hotels, tour operators, local guides, etc.) to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated with current trends, events, and developments in Japan's travel industry.
- Maintain a high level of customer service to create repeat customers.
- Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service before, during, and after clients' trips.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Travel Agent specializing in Japan travel preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Japan's geography, culture, attractions, and local nuances.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in the travel industry.
- Must have been to Japan a few times and experienced the Japanese culture.
The Package:
- $60K-$80K + bonus + super, salary is dependent on experience
