JAPANESE-SEPAKING MARKETING MANAGER-RESOURCE TRADER

- For new hires, the role will primarily involve coal trading operations (80%) and new business development (20%).
- In coal trading operations, responsibilities will include negotiating and arranging the purchase of coal within Australia, as well as sales and logistics coordination for clients in Japan.
- In new business development, the role will focus on activities similar to business development, with a primary emphasis on discovering Australian-made biomass fuels (such as wood pellets) as alternatives to coal and building businesses in other clean energy sectors.
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PPT) are sufficient
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English is preferred, as approximately 70% of communication will involve English dialogues with domestic suppliers and logistics companies, and the remaining 30% will involve email and phone correspondence with our Japanese headquarters and clients.
- Someone with past sales experience. While knowledge of coal and resources relevant to the job would be beneficial, it is not essential, as we provide training through our on-the-job training program.
- Domestic travel within Australia (mainly to NSW and QLD) will occur approximately 1-2 times per month, with overseas travel (to ASEAN regions such as Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam) occurring around once per quarter.
- Working from home is negotiable
