As a group, we are growing rapidly and as part of the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan (QEJP), actively helping to advance the energy transition towards net zero.About your new role:As the Major Systems Deployment Specialist, you'll oversee all pre-production and production cutover deployments for an integrated suite of solutions, to ensure a smooth transition with minimal customer impact. You'll also be accountable for the development of key governance deliverables including a detailed deployment plan, release roll back plan, deployment schedule, and deployment plan on a page for release governance forum.You can be located at any major EQL location such as Brisbane, Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton, Toowoomba or Townsville.The remuneration for your new role is from;$140,751 plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight and$159,049 plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight.Why choose to work for us?It’s an exciting time to join us and to be involved in the energy sector, so consider us for your next career move, where you will experience:

About you:In addition to your Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business or equivalent qualification, and/or demonstrated competence, you are experienced in coordinating change, environment management and release cutover activities across complex ICT portfolios.You have proven ability to deliver a high volume of work within challenging timelines and can engage at a senior management level through your advanced communication, negotiation and influencing skills.You understand cross project dependencies and collaborate with other Deployment Leads to identify, track and provide resolutions. You also use Agile Ways of Working to combine the Agile mindset with Environment, Release and Change management tools and processes.You are proficient in MS Project and can comfortably develop detailed technical deployment schedules in this format.
