Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
- Taking end to end accountability for developing high quality, fit for purpose, cost effective, enterprise aligned applications.
- Be part of a team and collaborate with them to deliver business outcomes using the Agile methodology.
- Analyse the requirements and provide estimations for the gathered requirements.
- Prepare requirement documents, design documents and unit test cases for the new requirements.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining program code.
- Unit testing the newly developed code and capture the test results.
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in the applications.
- Releasing the code through CI/CD practices.
You will ideally have strong proven Java development experience (if you have Kotlin experience, we'll love to hear about it!) and expertise in Microservices and Springboot.
- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in computer science/information systems.
- Minimum 5 years experience in application development.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Java/J2EE programming language.
- Solid understanding of Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservice/API development to be able to design, build and support them in production.
- Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing, and Performance Engineering.
