Senior Application Developer
Location: Melbourne
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Residency Status:Australian Citizen(Must)
Essential Skills & Criteria
# Excellent communication abilities both written and oral as required for communicating with stakeholders such as engineers, project managers, etc within the team, other IT staff, external vendors, and management.
# Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining software in a Linux environment including using Java, SQL, and BASH. Experience with C/C++ and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and data and algorithms is desirable.
# Prior working experience with the government industry is highly desirable
# Experience with revision control systems such as git and GitLab
# Ability to manage a backlog of work using an issue management system such as Jira, GitLab, or Cherwell.
