About the role
We are seeking two Full-Time Yard Assistants at our Wingfield location: one to oversee the operation of our semi-automatic bagging plant, and another to manage the contamination removal process at our primary processing facility.
Some of your key responsibilities may include:
- Operation of our semi-automated Bagging Plant.
- Ensure the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of the Bagging Plant.
- Identify, assess, and use appropriate methods to remove contaminants from piles to ensure a reduced contamination outcome.
- Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials following company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and enter relative data via a tablet.
- Perform a wide range of general labour tasks which may include supporting other team members in their duties.
- Taking care of various housekeeping responsibilities, such as lawn mowing, weed control, sweeping and shovelling etc.
- Provide support to the maintenance team by assisting in plant and machinery cleaning.

Skills and experience
Additional qualifications such as a First Aid Certificate or Forklift ticket are advantageous but not mandatory. Prospective candidates must undergo a comprehensive pre-employment assessment and drug screening.
Weekend and public holiday work may be required for this position. Access to transportation is necessary as work may be assigned at either our Wingfield or Buckland Park facilities.
