Rotation Solutions is a rapidly growing Western Australian business, passionately delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our tier-1 clients across multiple industrial sectors (including Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy and Defence).
As a result of this growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer with a practical mechanical background to join our dynamic team in Perth. (This opportunity is open to both Graduates and Engineers with limited professional experience).
As a Junior Rotating Equipment Engineeryour time will be split between our office in Perth and our customers’ sites (around Australia, New Zealand, and PNG), focusing on the following tasks:
RS Office based:
- Project planning
- Preparation for field work
- R&D of products and solutions for customer equipment needs, issues and problems (including design, manufacturing management, testing, etc.)
- Customer support for operation and maintenance of their industrial assets
Customer site based (onshore and offshore):
- Fly in, Fly out – typically for one, two or three weeks per project
- Execution of planned field work scopes primarily based around service and inspection of Gas Turbines, Compressors, and associated equipment
- Research and investigation for the development of solutions for equipment issues
As part of the RS team, you will take responsibility for keeping critical machinery running in a safe and efficient manner, though your technical aptitude and hands-on skills. In addition, you’ll develop to take ownership of projects from inception through to delivery.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and / or Bachelor of Technology (Motorsports). - To ensure that your application is eligible please ensure that you provide a copy of your academic transcript.
- An all-rounder from an academic and practical (hands on) perspective. - We aren't caught up on grades - if you have what it takes to pass your degree and love to get ‘hands on’ with machines, you will thrive in our environment
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience expected for applicants
