About the Client:
Our client is a valued member of their family, residing in their home in Erina. Due to the progression of early onset dementia, they now require dedicated 1:1 support at all times. Although no longer able to walk, our client lives with their family in a warm and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
As a support worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 support to the individual throughout sleepover shifts.
- Assisting with re-positioning as needed during the night.
- Ensuring the client's safety and well-being at all times.
Shift Availability:
We are currently seeking Support Workers for Sleepover shifts, scheduled every night except Saturday. These shifts are designed to provide necessary support while allowing for essential rest. While re-positioning support may be required, these shifts are not intended to be fully awake shifts.

How you contribute to our mission
Offering one-on-one support and connection for people with disability or aging clients, assisting with their daily needs, helping them to remain in their own homes where they want to be; living their best life.
This may be taking our customers to health appointments, meal preparation, providing social support, or helping them stay on top of their household tasks.
For those who have a qualification, it will be a wider variety of supports, including Personal Care, Medication prompting, and assisting with some more complex needs.
If you have previous industry experience in disability or aged care, and wide availability through the week, we would love to hear from you. If you are available weekends, or early starts and late finishes of the day, please reach out, as we may be able to suit your availability as well.
We have flexible employment options that will get you out around the Central Coast, meeting people who will thank you each day because you have truly made their day!
Our Support Workers earn around $30/hr (base rates starting at $26.18, add in travel time, paid training time, allowances etc), plus all the extras. Public Holidays pay over $65/hr! On top of that we throw in some extra Accuro allowances and all the award-based allowances!

• Aged Care; Home and Community Care; Disability; or Individual Support - Cert 3 or above
• Assistant in Nursing (AIN)

Required Credentials
• First Aid (renewable every 3 years)
• CPR Certification (renewable annually)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NWSC) Valid for 5 years
• NSW Driver’s license
• Direct customer facing roles are required to comply with the vaccination mandates for the industry as defined by the NDIS, NSW Health and Ministry of Health and Aged Care
• Understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements in customer care
• Knowledge and application of safe manual handling practices
