**About the Position:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Production & Sourcing assistant Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Design, this role will be instrumental in managing the production process and sourcing suppliers for our menswear categories. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production and Design teams to ensure timely delivery of collections while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Generate and manage purchase orders with suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers and identify new factory partners.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of samples and bulk orders.
- Collaborate with pattern makers to resolve production issues.
- Ensure efficient handling of sample packs to meet deadlines.
- Complete all administration tasks accurately in our system.
- Create care labels and barcodes for offshore suppliers.
- Manage sample and bulk order setup processes.
- Communicate effectively with overseas manufacturers.
**Requirements:**
- Strong understanding of garment construction and size specifications.
- Ability to simplify and amend patterns during the sampling stage.
- Excellent grasp of garment construction from concept to delivery.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience in communication with overseas manufacturers.
- Ability to maintain the critical path and establish seasonal range development mood boards.
- Creative flair with a commercial eye for design, fabric, and color.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and computer systems.
- Preferred: Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Must have: Previous experience in a fashion retail design production and sourcing team (minimum 2 years).
- Fashion/Merchandising Apparel Degree or Diploma.
- Sense of urgency to manage critical paths and deliver within timelines.
- Experience in men's product development and familiarity with CAD, Garment Tech Trim Packs, Specs/Sketches, and measurements.

**Pre-Employment Requirements:**
Prior to commencing employment, candidates must provide two references, possess full working rights, and complete a police check. 3 years in a production and sourcing apparel role.
