ABOUT THE ROLE
The Film Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of diverse content projects across various platforms and formats for our brands Learning Online & Australian Beauty School.
Our ideal candidate will have skills within the following areas:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Head of Content and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and objectives.
- Develop production schedules and timelines for each project, ensuring all tasks are accounted for and measurable.
- Tracking production projects to ensure timelines are met, and maintaining sufficient Content Production to meet the needs of the content strategy.
- Coordinate with various teams and departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication throughout the production process.
- Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, adjusting plans and priorities as needed to accommodate changing circumstances or stakeholder feedback.
Resource Management & Coordination:
- Coordinate on camera resources including both models and talent, ensuring the selection aligns with project requirements.
- Schedule videographers, course writers, technical talent (on-camera), and any additional crew members required for each project.
- Schedule and secure appropriate filming locations based on project needs and budget constraints. At times identifying new locations may be required.
- Liaise with vendors and other external partners to procure necessary equipment, props, and supplies for each project.
- Communicate project expectations, schedules, and logistics to the team, ensuring everyone is aligned and prepared for their roles.
- Provide on-set support and supervision to ensure the smooth execution of filming activities.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain Monday.com project boards with production details, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and other relevant documents.
- Generate reports and updates on project progress, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in post-project evaluations and debrief sessions to gather insights and lessons learned to implement improvements for future projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organisational skills.
- Production or Project Coordination experience.
- Film or Video production experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Google Workspace and Monday.com proficiency is an advantage, comprehensive use of equivalent applications is necessary prior experience.
- Knowledge of Project Management techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
