The Role
At Projoin we truly believe that Cabinet Vision Drafters are highly skilled designers and are passionate about supporting them to achieve the highest level of quality in each job for each client. The Cabinet Vision/Cabinet Master Drafter will perform various tasks, including:
- Read and interpret internal and external architectural drawings
- Assist in the initial drafting of design concepts
- Finalise plans for client approval before production
- Produce technical drawings for production
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and clients to keep projects on track
- Provide clear communication about any variations or amendments
- Be well-presented
- Ensure sufficient materials, equipment, and hardware for each joinery product have been checked prior to manufacture
- Ensure drawings, cutting lists, and materials are produced to achieve set targets in accordance with the production schedule
- Bring a positive attitude and professional manner to the workplace
- Immaculate precision, attention to detail and initiative to get the job done

The successful candidate must support the team and is required to work under the supervision of the Production Manager. This role requires the need to follow all standard safety regulations while completing tasks.
Key Selection Criteria
- You will be a highly skilled Draftsperson with at least 5 years experience in kitchen and cabinetry design
- A qualification in Residential Building Drafting / Design in Cabinet Making
- Proficient in Cabinet Vision or Cabinet Master
- 3D rendering skills are desirable
- Technical understanding of production and manufacturing methodologies of joinery, including cabinetry materials, specifications and hardware, such as Blum and Hettich
- Excellent time management, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Is a team player
- Sound knowledge of the manufacturing process and associated business rules
- Experience in achieving set targets
