The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented journalist to join our team covering the news for the Oberon region. The successful applicant for this role should be an energetic and capable multi-platform storyteller with proven skills in writing, research and analysis, photography, a strong work ethic and a curiosity about people and their stories. An ability to understand and present data is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will:
- provide examples of excellence in writing to a high standard of spelling, grammar and style
- have proven skills in writing for online and social media audiences and tight deadlines
- be able to show initiative in generating story ideas while also working to direction and in collaboration with the editorial team as required
