The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us at The Examiner as a News Journalist based in the Launceston region.
The Examiner delivers the latest news from Launceston TAS including sport, weather, entertainment and lifestyle. As part of Australian Community Media (ACM), it has a loyal readership, created by its consciousness of its role in the community - that of an informer, watchdog and entertainer.
The successful candidate will have
- Strong news-gathering and writing/reporting skills
- Proven skills in writing for online and social media audiences with tight deadlines
- Proven educational qualifications in Communications/Journalism
