About the Role
As a Junior Account Manager, you'll report to the National Technical Sales Support Team Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads for the National Sales team, contributing to a robust pipeline of project opportunities. This role serves as an ideal steppingstone into a BDM position.
Your Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.
- Convert inbound call inquiries into actionable leads.
- Foster relationships with engineers and architects identified as key influencers in relevant projects.
- Engage with builders/developers, highlighting the technical and financial advantages of our products to generate leads.
- Ensure meticulous management of potential leads in CRM, with detailed notes for seamless handover to Account Managers/BDMs upon conversion.
Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years' sales experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of the building/construction industry advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a high level of confidence.
- Strong listening, negotiating, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
