This is a mid level position, and our team will be happy to train and orient you. There will be opportunities for continued learning via webinars and on premise training. It is an ideal entry for a person looking for a career growth in public accounting practice, moving on to more senior roles.
DBS Accountants is a well established boutique CPA firm in Bankstown offering accounting, audit, tax, SMSF and business services to a wide variety of Small to Medium Businesses and HNW Individuals. We are a small, well knit team with a relaxed work environment.
To be considered for this role the following skills are essential:
•Excellent communication skills
•Sound MS Office skills, primarily Word, Excel & Outlook
* Working knowledge of MYOB/Xero/QuickBooks Online
•Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks in an accurate & timely manner
•Ability to organise & prioritise daily tasks
•Positive approach to learning
This role requires you to:
- Preparing & Lodging BAS
- Payroll & Super processing and reporting
- Liaise with clients, ATO and other stakeholders
- Answer incoming calls in professional & polite manner
- Handling office mail
- Filing to electronic Document Management System
This is a full time position, however we can negotiate flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
Competitive pay rates are offered. 3 Months Probation period.
