This position as a Internal Control and Risk Analyst in Samsung Electronics Australia (SEAU), has become available due to the shift with govering financial reporting requirements. As a Internal Control and Risk Analyst at SEAU, you will be the core personnel working with various stakeholders to implement and enforce effective control mechanism governing risk management. This role involves working in collaboration with the business across different functions to collect evidence, review supporting documents, identifying gaps, and drive process improvement to strengthen the SEAU risk management framework. In addition to this, the role will required to liaise with insurance brokers for policy renewal and supporting with business claims.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor key risk indicators and support with implementing corrective action plans to manage and mitigate risks
- Review of key risk items and identify the root causes of abnormalities and mismanagement cases to improve processes
- Analysis of transactions, internal reports and financial information for potential financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional control owners to facilitate the control operation efficiency
- On a monthly basis, collect and review evidence to validate the effectiveness of controls
About YOU:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Accounting & Finance, Business, Risk Management)
- Minimum a year experience in audit, accounting, risk management, control implementation, or a related role.
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Intermediate stakeholder management skills with the confidence to interact across all levels
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Agile and self starter
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
