THE POSITION
We have a position vacant for a Manager on Duty (Parking) who will assist the New South Wales Parking Operations team in providing customer service in the field, safety provisions, health checks and maintaining carpark equipment of designated sites within the branch portfolio during the hours of your designated roster. This is a mobile position and a company vehicle will be supplied for use during your shift. You will be paid under the Car Park award.
This role will be offered on a casual basis, and during the working hours of 10pm - 6am on a rotating roster.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level customer service,
- Equipment issue resolution,
- Site operational continuity,
- Completing mobile health checks,
- Internal and perimeter safety and site inspections, and
- Event responses.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Our ideal applicant will have:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a Car Park operations or similarly oriented technical role.
- Detailed understanding of technical/equipment (hardware and software) related issues and ability to carry out any necessary technical repairs.
- Intermediate levels of computer literacy (especially Excel, MS Word and Outlook).
- Demonstrated evidence of facilitating clear communication and recommendations to staff at all levels.
- Experience working in a customer service-focused environment.
- Experienced in customer, staff, client and contractor interactions at all levels.
- Full Australian Drivers Licence and a clean driving record.
