The Opportunity

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, loves managing data, and excels at creating insightful reports. As a key player in our team, you will have direct exposure to senior management and external customers, influencing business operations across all of TMA’s business units.

- Position: Full-time, permanent
- Location: Currently in South Granville, moving to Auburn's industrial area soon
- Support: Training from our Head of Business Analytics, Commercial Analyst, and international BAs
About the Role
- Data Analysis: Dive into logistics and manufacturing data, extracting valuable insights.
- Financial Modelling: Develop robust financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability for diverse projects.
- Reporting: Create performance reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Market Research: Uncover industry trends, opportunities, and competitive benchmarks through thorough market research.
- Cost Analysis: Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements by analysing operational costs.
- Contract Analysis: Review and analyse customer and supplier contracts to ensure compliance and optimal terms.
- Business Support: Prepare compelling business cases, presentations, and proposals for new opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with various departments to implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Tackle special projects and analyses as required by the commercial team or senior management.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, CPA, or studying towards it.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a commercial or analytical role, ideally within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Pivot; comfortable with ETL processes and other data analysis tools; experience with financial modelling and business intelligence software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
