Your new role
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior solicitor to join our dynamic Commercial/Property Litigation team. You will have the opportunity to be mentored and supervised by our senior Litigation Lawyers and partners and assist with the day-to-day carriage of complex litigation matters. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Legal research
- Drafting correspondence and memorandums
- Preparing briefs and instructions for counsel
- Liaising with clients and counsel
- Drafting affidavits, applications, statements of claim and defences in State and Federal jurisdictions
About you
You will ideally be a 1+ year PQE lawyer with:
- strong written and verbal communication skills;
- strong academic record;
- a proactive approach to solving problems and finding solutions for clients;
- previous experience working at a law firm.
