Pro Automation is currently working with an international organisation who provide solutions to large scale industrial process control, materials handling and automated logistics industries. Due to continued growth, they now have an opportunity for a Graduate Control Systems Engineer to join the projects team. This will be based in Melbourne’s suburbs.
The Role:
As a Graduate Control Systems Engineer your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing functional specifications Control Systems requirement
- Implementation, configuration and programming of PLC and SCADA systems
- Onsite commissioning support
- Reviewing of current software tools and making recommended improvements
- Preparation of testing and operational specifications
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a local company who are going through a phase of growth. Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, this would suit a Graduate Engineer to gain strong experience into the Control System Engineering field.
Your Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, you will:
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification (Computer Sciences, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar)
- Knowledge of PLC's, HMI's and SCADA systems is also beneficial
- Be a strong team player as well as a good self starter
- Have excellent communication skills
