Junior Data Analyst
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work closely with your manager to assist in identifying business opportunities that deliver member growth and increased member value. You leverage all data sources to assist in the delivery of business targets, and provide support in data extraction, analytics, general reporting and working on service requests.
We are open to candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. You will have the flexibility to work from home two days per week and will be required in our CBD office for three days per week.
Your responsibilities
•Assist with timely & accurate delivery of BAU reports and data to the internal stakeholders within agreed time frames
•Develop, write, and implement queries to run ad hoc data extractions
•Conduct business analysis, communicate, validate and document requirements for business intelligence and analytics
•Assist the team with data extraction and data analysis
•Contribute to identifying data gaps and potential opportunities for business growth and further exploration.
•Ensure data maintenance is complete through constantly reviewing data quality.
Your experience
•Exposure to SAS or SQL programming, and/or experience working with analysing data.
•Analytical skills and an eye for detail
•Skills in Excel and data reporting tools such as Power BI
•Data extraction and manipulation skills and the ability to identify opportunities through analytics
•Capable of delivering data related topics in a non-technical manner to stakeholders
•Demonstrates initiative, sound analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
