Hybrid: Flexible 3 days minimum in the office
Contract: 3-6-month initial contract
Education/Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Mathematics, or a business-related discipline preferred. Or Certification in ITIL Service management (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Duties include on call support services, incident management, change requests and configuration management to ensure the platform functions correctly.
- Administer and offer support for the diverse Network Analytics integrations (A2A).
- Manage the performance and availability of the integration services between the platform and upstream/downstream applications.
- Investigate faults and apply lasting solutions to maintain service levels.
- Aid in software upgrade planning, implementation, testing, and release.
- Utilize internal and external service providers to meet service levels and resolve incidents promptly.
- Carry out regular system administration and maintenance tasks as scheduled.
Must have experience in strategic development and operational management expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Developing, testing, and implementing computer systems, as well as analyzing computing needs.
- Providing technical user support, especially in 24/7 operational environments.
- Proficiency in Disaster Recovery, Failover, and working on RedHat Linux Platforms.
- Substantial experience with real-time and relational database technologies, including managing complex system implementations and upgrades.
- Coding skills in languages like bash, R & RStudio, SPSS, JavaScript, Golang, Python, PowerShell, etc., utilized for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with integration/delivery tools like Bitbucket/GitHub.
- Experience with Alerting and Visualization tools such as Grafana and Slack.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Golden Gate, Pentaho, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of supporting Docker, Prometheus, Kubernetes, and Jenkins services and applications.
- Ability to set up and manage Nginx.
- Understanding of cloud-based applications, firewalls, networking, storage, capacity management, and database technologies.
