Junior Engineer

Position Overview:
As a Junior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and innovation. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing our dealers, installers and project teams with technical support, system sizing, designs, troubleshooting, quotations, order processing, warranty claim assessment, managing communications with suppliers, and ensuring the seamless execution of projects. 

This is an entry level role so there will be a reasonable amount of admin, but if you have ideas to systemize or automate it, we will support you to make it happen!

Your ingenuity and methodical nature will be critical in enhancing our product offerings and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and national dealer network.
• Manage communications with suppliers, including technical inquiries and product reviews.
• Develop and document safe work methods for equipment testing and fault finding.
• Assist with training sessions for internal staff and dealers on product knowledge and technical processes.
• Review and implement frameworks for warranty management and RMA assessment processes.
• Design and testing of new product concepts, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Improve internal systems, processes, automations and record keeping to eliminate waste, reduce errors and make your team more efficient.

Key Requirements:

• Qualification in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting and training.
• Strong knowledge of design principles and engineering software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Experience in developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
