Job Description:
- Probationary for first 3 months;
- Thoroughly reviewing tender documentation to develop accurate SOW, BOQ and Cost Plans;
- Lump sum, D&C and Construction Management tenders with regard to shopfitting and office refurbishments;
- Issuing trade packages to subcontractors and ensuring trade quotes are received;
- Preparing take-offs and tender estimates;
- Preparing methodologies and programmes for submissions when required;
- Reviewing & analysing subcontractor quotes and negotiate to obtain best prices;
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions ensuring all components are included;
- Attend tender interview meetings;
- Undertake pre-commencement meetings to hand over projects to Phenom Group project delivery team;
The Skills We Need:
- Ability to work as part of a team to undertake small and major demolition/refurbishment tenders;
- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or other related discipline will be highly regarded;
- Ability to introduce own network of reputable clients to Phenom Group would be advantageous;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines and stay focused under pressure;
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships;
- Good negotiating skills coupled with a keen eye for detail;
- Great autonomous skills with a keen passion for team values;
- Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to problem solve;
- Experienced in Bluebeam, Buildsoft, Cubit, MS Project, EstimateOne & Microsoft Suite would be highly regarded but not essential;
- Minimum of 12 months experience within the construction/demolition industry would be highly regarded but not essential;
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans is preferred but not essential;
- Ability to conduct site measurements;
- High standards of presentation;

- The ability to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders;
